Each mattress warranty is designed to protect you from manufacturing defects — not normal wear and tear. Most mattress warranties are provided directly by the manufacturer, and the terms may vary by brand and product type.

📅 Warranty Coverage Period

Warranty coverage depends on the brand and model of your mattress. Most warranties range from 10 to 25 years, covering defects in materials or workmanship, such as:

  • Sagging or body impressions deeper than the manufacturer’s stated limit
  • Broken or loose coils or wires
  • Defective foam or upholstery materials
  • Manufacturing flaws in the mattress cover or stitching

❌ What’s Not Covered

Warranties do not cover issues resulting from normal use or improper care. Common exclusions include:

  • Normal softening or minor body impressions
  • Comfort preference changes
  • Damage from misuse or abuse
  • Stains, spills, or unsanitary conditions
  • Bent, broken, or missing bed frames or center supports
  • Commercial use of a residential mattress

⚠️ What Can Void a Warranty

To keep your mattress warranty valid, please follow all care instructions. A warranty may be voided if:

  • The law tag is removed or missing
  • The mattress is stained or unsanitary
  • It was used on an improper or unsupported foundation
  • It shows signs of physical damage or abuse
  • The mattress was used for commercial purposes
  • Ownership was transferred to someone else
  • Unauthorized repairs or alterations were made

🏠 After the 120 Night Sleep Trial

If your mattress develops a defect after the 120 Night Sleep Trial, we’ll help you begin the manufacturer’s warranty process. Mancini’s Sleepworld will assist you in identifying the issue, submitting documentation, and connecting with the manufacturer for review.

  • Always use a properly supported bed frame or base.
  • Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions for rotating or maintaining your mattress.

How to Process a Claim

What is the Warranty Claim Process?

1. Initial claim & review

  • You submit a warranty claim on Mancini’s Sleepworld Warranty Page
  • You will receive and email to upload photos
  • IBG (a third-party inspector) is assigned to evaluate the mattress.

2. On-site inspection by the inspector

  • The inspector visits your home, usually with your retailer’s coordination.
  • They examine the mattress in the sleeping configuration (on the foundation/adjustable base, set up as used).
  • They may remove bedding or mattress protectors to evaluate the surface.
  • They visually inspect deformities: sagging, indentations, edge collapse, quilting/cover issues, stitching problems, etc.
  • They measure body impressions (indentations/depressions) according to the manufacturer’s criteria (for example: “sagging more than 1.5 inches constitutes a manufacturing defect”). 
  • They may take photographs for documentation. 
  • They check for other possible warranty-voiding conditions (e.g., stains/fluid ingress, using an improper foundation, misuse, sub-standard support). 

3. Report & determination

  • Mattress warranty claims are reviewed and decided by the manufacturer, not Mancini’s Sleepworld. Each claim is evaluated through an independent third-party inspection to ensure a fair and accurate determination.
  • Please note-Mattresses selected with approved warranties are not part of the 120/365 Comfort Guarantee
  • The inspector prepares a report with measurements, observations, photos, findings.
  • The manufacturer reviews the report against its warranty guidelines (what constitutes defect vs. acceptable wear, what parts are covered).
  • A decision is made: approve claim (repair or replacement) or deny claim (if the condition falls within “normal use” or is excluded).
