Mancini’s Sleepworld Acquires Christian’s Mattress Xpress, Launches Retirement Sale Across Nine Central California Stores

Mancini's Sleepworld assumes ownership of all nine Christian's Mattress Xpress locations from retiring owners Ron and Deanne Gonzales. Their two sons will continue the family legacy in new roles with Mancini's Sleepworld.
CENTRAL CALIFORNIA, August 26, 2026: Mancini's Sleepworld has acquired Christian's Mattress Xpress and assumed ownership of all nine of the retailer's locations throughout California's Central Valley and Central Coast.
The acquisition brings together two established California mattress retailers and marks a significant expansion of Mancini's Sleepworld into Central California.
With the acquisition now complete, Christian's Mattress Xpress founder and owner Ron Gonzales and his wife, Deanne Gonzales, are retiring from the business. To celebrate their retirement and begin the transition to Mancini's Sleepworld, an immediate Retirement Sale is now underway at all nine Christian's Mattress Xpress locations to clear existing inventory.
Beginning today, customers can save up to 70% off mattresses and sleep products from many of the industry's leading brands, including Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, Beautyrest, Helix and more.

While Mancini's Sleepworld assumes ownership effective immediately, the nine locations will continue operating under the Christian's Mattress Xpress name during the transition. The stores are expected to become Mancini's Sleepworld locations in early 2027.
Importantly, the acquisition does not mark the end of the Gonzales family's involvement in the business. Two of Ron and Deanne's children, who currently help lead Christian's Mattress Xpress, will remain with the organization and take on new roles with Mancini's Sleepworld.

Retirement Sale Begins Immediately
Beginning today, all nine Christian's Mattress Xpress locations are holding a Retirement Sale to clear existing inventory, giving Central California consumers the opportunity to save up to 70% off mattresses and sleep products.
The sale includes savings on top mattress brands including Tempur Pedic, Sealy, Beautyrest, Helix and more, with merchandise available while supplies last.
The Retirement Sale is taking place at all nine Christian's Mattress Xpress locations throughout the Central Valley and Central Coast.
What Customers Can Expect Next
Although Mancini's Sleepworld now owns and operates the nine locations, customers will continue to see the Christian's Mattress Xpress name throughout the transition.
Customers can also expect to continue seeing many of the familiar faces they know today, including members of the Gonzales family and the existing Christian's Mattress Xpress team.
The nine stores are expected to transition to the Mancini's Sleepworld brand in early 2027.
